Top Christmas Movies 2015

Keep the change, ya filthy animal!

We've all made a list and checked it more than twice, and now it's getting to that time of year again. November has came upon us so its time to throw away the pumpkins & put up the tinsel and take out the cheesy Christmas sweaters. This therefore has brought me to this post, Christmas movies. What Christmas would be complete without watching some all time Christmas classics? Of course this is a very controversial topic so I thought it would be cool for you guys to know my favourite picks & why. I hope this starts getting you all in the festive mood :)

1. Taking the throne, 'The Polar Express' is my all time favourite Christmas movie. 'Polar express' is about a young boy who embarks on a magical adventure to the North pole on the Polar Express, in persute of Santa's existance. This film gives you an injection of Christmas spirit and is perfect for a cosy night in!

2. Bah humbug! just missing first place, 'The Grinch' has to be my second favourite Christmas movie of all time. Based upon a Dr Seuss classic, 'The Grinch' is about a green creature who lives in the mountains of Whoville and is intent on stealing Christmas. This is a heart warming adventure and one great for all the family.

3. Every Christmas eve it has become tradition for my family & I to go to the the theatre and watch 'It's a wonderful life'. This therefore has to receive 3rd place. 'It's a wonderful life' is a Christmas movie about an angel who helps a compassionate but despairingly frustrated businessman by showing what life would be like if he never existed. Be sure to have tissues at the ready for this 1947 classic!

4. Keep the change, ya filthy animal! What Christmas movie blog post would be complete without 'Home Alone', which proudly takes 4th spot. 'Home Alone' is about a 8-year-old trouble maker, Kevin, who must protect his home from a pair of burgulars when he is accidently left home alone by his family during Christmas vacation. This film is great because not only is it a great Christmas movie but also a great movie to watch any time of year!

5. Last but certainly not least, 'Flight of the Reindeer' is my fifth top Christmas movie of choice. When I was younger I was given a Christmas DVD box set as a gift, one of the movies in it was 'Flight of a Reindeer'. 'Flight of a Reindeer' is about scientist who sets out to prove that reindeer fly and along the way discovers the true meaning of faith, family & Christmas. I cannot deny that this movie is extremely cheesy, but what's the true harm in that?

I hope you all enjoyed reading this post & be sure to keep updated. Apologises for being less active lately, school work has been taking priority. I will try post as regular as possible.
