Monthly favourites: September 2015
As you may or may not know, this is my first ever monthly favourites post. I plan on doing one each month (hence the name) from now on. My monthly favourites will usually show several products that I've been loving and that I think you guys will love also.
Beauty
£18.50- MAC |
The first item that I've been loving this month is the MAC sheertone shimmer blush in 'Springsheen'. This blusher is an amazing coral colour and is especially gorgeous for this who are medium/warmer toned. It's a sheertone shimmer which means you cant really go over board with it. This also means its perfect for beginners (like me) as they blend like a dream. The golden shimmer is very subtle- nothing too glittery, just perfect.
Debenhams UK- £32 |
The second product that has been perfect for me this month is the TWO FACED Air buffed BB creme. I've never had great experience with BB or CC creams in the past but wow. This has complete coverage, brightens and illuminates your face! This product is perfect for using when you are in a rush for school or work and don't have time to spend ages on your make up. It's really quick and easy to apply which makes it the perfect item to fit in your handbag. I also find this packaging is really cute and comes with a little brush to help matifie the coverage.
MAC- £15.50 |
Another favourite this month is the MAC amplified lipstick in 'Vegas Volt'. This is one of my all time favourite lipsticks!! The colour is very versatile, and is perfect for the autumn season. It ranges from the pinky coral most commonly seen in swatches, to a bright neon orange when layered up, to a beautiful pale peachy coral when dabbed on lightly. All three of these variations work perfectly with slightly tanned, naturally pale skin. The amplified formula is my favourite from MAC, highly pigmented and creamy.
SEPHORA- $14 |
Lip glosses have never been a main stable in my make up bag since I was 8 years old but this month I have been loving them! Especially the NEW Summer Sephora collection Ultra Shine lip gel in 'Paradise Pink'. This lip gloss transforms lips with a plumping shine. The colour is beautiful and rich. However, as you may guess, the main problem with this product is that when you apply it, it can stick to your hair. This is the same with all lip glosses though so overall I think this is a great product. Being for the UK, we don't actually have a SEPHORA here so I bought this product in Barcelona when I went in Summer.
SEPHORA- $30 |
My last makeup item for this month is the Two Faced Bronzed & Poreless bronzer. This bronzer is extremely pigmented and blends really easily. I love using this for contouring or just dusting all over my face. This bronzer definitely gives Benefits HOOLA a run for it's money.
Hair
Boots UK- £4.95 |
This month I only have one hair product and it is the Aussie miracle beach waves spray. This spray is made with Australian sea kelp and sea salt. This is probably my favourite product this month. It's gives a matte, textured, tousled style that looks like it's straight off the beach and been surfing on a sea-breeze. This is perfect for school as when running late in the morning (everyday for me), it requires little effort. You just brush it through your hair with a comb and it creates beach waves within minutes. Plus, it smells amazing! I love this product and 100% recommend it to everyone.
Bath & Skin Care
SEPHORA- $5 |
After a long-stressful day at school my favourite thing to do is have a long, bubble bath. This brings me to one of my favourite products this month which is the SEPHORA Chocolate creamy body wash. You could almost eat this product it smells so good! I suffer from dry skin quite a lot and think this product helps it SO much. It doesn't dry out your skin unlike most body products. It keeps your skin looking and feeling hydrated, which I absolutely love. If chocolate isn't your thing then no need to worry! This product is available in a wide selection. After trying this one, I went and bought it in the other 5 scents. Its very affordable and provides great results!
TK MAXX- £15 |
Finally, the last product in my monthly favourites is the LIERAC PARIS comfort mask. This face mask is a moisturising rich cream made from rose water. My skin hasn't been great at the moment & find face masks instantly replenish my skin. After applying this mask, you leave it for 10-15 minutes and then wash off any excess product with warm water. I find this really refreshing and think its an overall really nice product to use.
I hope you enjoyed reading this post. Keep posted for future posts!
Bisous, Ariana
